By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by MIS CBN Ventures Pty Ltd T/as My Insurance Specialist ABN: 22 674 066 507.
The competition is open to eligible entrants over 18 years of age. My Insurance Specialist employees, promoter and associates are excluded from the draw.
The competition is open to only attendees at the Sydney Franchising & Business Opportunites Expo 2024.
The competition commences 9:00a.m. AEST (daylight saving time) 04/05/2024 and closes 4:00 p.m. AEST 05/05/2024.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is a limit of one entry per Eligible Entrant and the competition is completely free to enter.
The Game of Skill Competition requires completing and submitting an online form via the provided link.
The winning prize will be a $200 prepaid Visa E-Gift Card.
The use of specific brands as prizes by the Promoter does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation, if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
My Insurance Specialist’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
The winner of this Game of Skill Competition will be chosen based on the correct or nearest to the correct answer. In the case of a draw, the winner will be determined by the first person to guess the correct or nearest to the correct answer.
The winner will be notified via the email address provided by 5:00 p.m. AEST 07/05/2024.
The winner will also be announced on My Insurance Specialist’s social media channels by the 07/05/2024.
My Insurance Specialist will make two attempts to contact the winner via email or phone.
If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and My Insurance Specialist reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by My Insurance Specialist for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
All entrants acknowledge that the winner’s name will be announced on My Insurance Specialist’s social media channels.
My Insurance Specialist may tag or mention the winner’s social media handle account names, if known, in My Insurance Specialist’s social media post/s and/or channels, unless otherwise advised.
My Insurance Specialist may choose to post the winner’s answers to My Insurance Specialist’s social media channels, without the entrants’ names.
Attendees consent to their filming and sound recording as members of the audience. By entering this event and site you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used, without compensation, for marketing or promotional purposes, whether now known or hereafter devised.
My Insurance Specialist accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
My Insurance Specialist reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
My Insurance Specialist reserves the right to disqualify an entrant if they breached the competition terms and conditions, such as cheating to win the competition by having an unfair advantage or if they act in a way that infringes a third party’s intellectual property (IP).
My Insurance Specialist reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner or qualifier, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms.
My Insurance Specialist has no responsibility to accept late, lost or misdirected entries.
Prize-winner acknowledges that tax implications may arise from their prize winning and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
Nothing in the terms limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.
